The CNCH Conference 2026 was very successful and inspiring for our guild members that attended. Mary P, Donna S, Beth L, Diane C, and Inani E shared samples from each of their classes and spoke about how much fun they had. Mary passed out cards with info for the 2027 conference that will be held April 1-4 at the Grand Bay Hotel in Redwood City. Mark your calendar now!
Inani spoke about her own experience with Shibori over the years and shared gorgeous samples of her work.
Our Show & Tell portion of the meeting was filled with knitting, weaving, and basketry. Remember to enter those items and more in the Nevada County Fair!
Yes, it is Fair Time!! The Google Doc Sign Up sheets are available. Please check your calendar and volunteer to help with setup, judging assistance, receiving, as docents, as demonstrators, returning items, and takedown. It takes all of us helping out to make the “Wool Room” a favorite place to visit every year at the Nevada County Fair.
Last but never least, our own Jane Milner is accepting registrations for her upcoming Market Basket classes, June 13-14 and June 17-18 at Ben’s Place. Please contact Jane before June 1 to sign up so that she can order the necessary supplies. See all the details here.
