Knitting & Crochet Meetup (Saturday, July 18, 2026)

Your voices have been heard! A second meetup for the Knitting & Crochet Group has been added to our calendar, this time in Grass Valley.

Meet at the Flour Garden in the Gold Country Center (near the bead store) on the third Saturday of the month, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Bring a small project to work on in the company of your fellow guild members.

Nevada County Fair Entry Deadline (Monday, July 20, 2026)

Entry forms for the Wool, Fibers & Textiles exhibits are due by Monday, July 20th by 4:00 PM. You are encouraged to enter all of your items online. (Yes, the "Wool Room" accepts entries from residents of neighboring counties.)

Drop off the items you entered into the Wool, Fibers & Textiles categories for the Nevada County Fair at Ponderosa Hall. Our guild member volunteers will be there to receive them from you.

Nevada County Fair (Wednesday, August 12, 2026)

Our Guild sponsors and staffs the "Wool Room" in Ponderosa Hall during the fair. All members are encouraged to enter their weaving, felting, handspun, and items made with handspun yarn. Sign up for a shift or two (or three) as a docent or to demonstrate a fiber art process.

Pick up the items you entered into the Wool, Fibers & Textiles categories for the Nevada County Fair at Ponderosa Hall. Our guild member volunteers will be there to return them to you. Please remember to bring your tags.
