April 28: An Intro to Botanical Printing

This is an in-person & Zoom meeting.
Doors open at 6:15 PM, meeting starts at 6:45 PM.

Using examples of their work, Louisa Hunter and Jeannie Kaiser will show you the possibilities of natural dyes and botanical print. They will discuss the essential elements of botanical printing and how to achieve clear, colorful and crisp prints. Presentation will also include sources, studio set up and a broad overview of the process.

Fiber Tales - Down the Rabbit Hole

Asilomar, Pacific Grove, CA

Coming your way, at a venue that inspires creativity, is a conference that dives into chain reactions we all experience. As Alice said, “I think I could, if I only knew how to begin.” Learning opportunities exist in 15 hour, 12 hour and 3 hour formats. Weaving, spinning, dyeing, felting, tapestry, and basketry adventures will be on the menu.
